I’m Casey!
I know that it can be overwhelming to take the first steps toward healing, but you do not have to walk this path alone. Counseling is a collaborative relationship between you and the therapist. I strive to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to explore yourself, your goals, and your strengths.
I will help you build awareness and perspective into your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. Together we will explore new ways you can relate to your thoughts and feelings so that you can navigate life’s challenges and improve your overall quality of life. I believe in personalizing and tailoring counseling to each individual; therefore, my approach is integrative to best meet your needs so that we can achieve your goals. Change can be difficult and uncomfortable, and I look forward to walking with you on your courageous journey to live the life you want to live.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Michigan University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Michigan University in 2023. Additionally, I have a graduate certificate in Social Aspects of Human-Animal Interactions at Colorado State University, and I am certified by the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology as a Compassion Fatigue Educator and Therapist. I have experience working with a diverse range of clients experiencing many difficulties in both individual and group settings.
I look forward to working with you,
Casey Vaughn, LLPC
