Liberty Mental Health was started in 2020. I saw a need in the community for more accessible and quality mental and behavioral health services in a warm and modern environment. I was confident that my care for people and skills as a therapist could help meet that need. I believe that being personable and genuine are the main foundations to helping people achieve breakthroughs mentally and in other areas of life. 

I wanted Liberty Mental Health to be a place of trust, freedom, and peace for everyone who walks through the doors. For me, that also included a need for myself and for other clinicians to feel taken care of and experience peace and freedom in their lives as they do an important job of being a therapist. Unfortunately, this industry is full of places that care about productivity and the bottom line and often mistreat, overwork, and underpay their people. I believe that if we are going to help care for others, especially with something as vulnerable and delicate as their mind and spirit, we need to take care of ourselves with that same tenacity. At Liberty Mental Health we provide mental health counseling for kids, individuals, couples, and families, as well as a healing environment for the therapists we have here. 

We are also passionate about training the next generation of therapists. We are a training center offering internships for those acquiring their master's degree in clinical mental health, social work, and family and marriage studies. All of our clinicians are supportive of helping teach new therapists. Our interns are given their own caseload with supervision and guidance as well as opportunities to shadow other therapists directly.
