Virtual counseling is often also referred to as "remote counseling", "online therapy", and "telehealth" or "teletherapy".  

Benefits of Teletherapy:

- Virtual counseling provides a level of convenience as you are able to be anywhere in the state of Michigan while on your telehealth session with your therapist.

- Most insurance plans (as of now)- still cover remote therapy.

- It provides the ability to not have to reschedule a session if you need to switch an in-person appointment to virtual last minute.
