Genuine care and long-lasting change begin here.
My name is Madeline, and I am in my final year of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program at Wayne State University. My goal as a counselor is to provide a safe space for my clients to express, explore, and process their emotions and life’s problems.
My psychological theory of choice is cognitive behavioral theory (CBT). This means I primarily use techniques that help clients identify and confront patterns in their thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs that are not serving them in order to develop more healthy, helpful patterns.
I got into the field of mental health counseling because I am passionate about helping others and I love hearing people tell their own stories. I am open to working with clients of all ages, and I can work with you in-person or through telehealth.
