Genuine care and long-lasting change begin here.
I am currently earning my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Eastern Michigan University with the goal to become a Licensed Counselor. I am currently completing my internship at Liberty and have the ability to see clients as part of my internship requirements. I have previous experience seeing clients at EMU’s counselor training clinic and worked with children and adults.
During my time as a student, I have gained experience in treating clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, panic attacks, and trauma. I also have a special interest in working with veterans and members of the military. I have completed the first tier of the STAR behavioral health program, and other military focused interventions training.
My therapeutic approach is considered to be eclectic, meaning I use a combination of different techniques to best suit each client. Some of these techniques include the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive-processing therapy (CPT), and existentialism.
As I continue to develop my skills, my goals as your therapist are to support you in your explorations of self, aid in developing curiosity for yourself, and to provide an environment that fosters empathy and unconditional positive regard throughout your therapeutic journey.
